What to see in White towns
Other white towns very worthy to be visited are
Ojén: located just 10 kilometers from Marbella. It is a typical white Andalusian town where some of its houses have been built taking advantage of the cavities in the limestone rocks. An essential visit is to the oil museum and the liquor museum, as well as trying the “mojaos” churros.
Casares town: Beautiful white town with narrow, steep streets and with facades decorated with flower pots. It’s the birthplace of Blas Infante, considered one of the fathers of the Andalusian Homeland
Estepona is an open-air museum. Fall in love with its old town due to its picturesque streets, each with pots of a different color, for its outdoor sculptures, mural paintings, poems and for the orchid garden museum. It is called the garden of the Costa del Sol.
Setenil de las Bodegas: It’s located 30 minutes drive from Ronda. It is a very original town and surely one of the most beautiful in Spain. Many of its houses are built taking advantage of the rock protrusion.
